Note: Your modifications must be compatible with the tune you purchased. Vehicle Compatibility List: Completely STOCK 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type-R (FK8) or bolt-ons such as inlet pipe, intake, intercooler, downpipe, front pipe and exhaust. *Must use the stock turbo & fuel system.
Note that Honda does not sell a collar by itself; it’s part of the shift boot assembly. That said, any shift knob that is cut flush with the drill will work with the 2020+ Type R. Shift knobs that are counterbored or countersunk may not work with the 2020 shift collar. However, using the 2017-19 retaining nut can allow these to work.
_____ @BlackAlex are you talking specifically about the FK8 (Type R) or normal hatchback? You're in the Type R subforums right now and the paneling for that car isn't entirely compatible with the normal Civic.
Technical specifications about the new Civic Type R haven’t been released but we expect it to feature a tuned version of the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that powered the FK8 model
