My best works out to 5.16lt/100km or 45.58 US/MPG. Always sport mode, though it seems to like a little altitude. I did try rain mode once.
The thing that I really disliked is that if I didn't get the revs real high before starting off in first it would lug and want to stall. It's a taller, bigger-feeling bike than the SDGT too. Feels more similar in size to the KTM adventure models, which is perhaps not so surprising. FWIW I ended up with a KTM ADV 1190 alongside the SDR.
